The country's power facilities have faced increased attacks in the past few days

Simultaneously, a seven-year-old child was killed in a distinct assault in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, according to area administrators.

Moscow has intensified assaults on electrical systems over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has requested "substantial measures" from international partners to apply pressure on Moscow.

"The necessity is not window dressing but strong steps - from the America, the EU and the major economies - in delivering air defence systems and enforcing penalties," mentioned in a social media post.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen projectiles attacked the country's power systems, describing such strikes as "premeditated" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.

The energy minister said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were laboring to restore power.

A wave of strikes struck electrical systems and apartment buildings in the capital.
